The Organic Trade Association (OTA) is the membership-based business association for organic agriculture and products in North America. OTA is the leading voice for the organic trade in the United States, representing over 9,500 organic businesses across 50 states. Its members include growers, shippers, processors, certifiers, farmers' associations, distributors, importers, exporters, consultants, retailers and others.

While OTA has been an Aeronet client for over a decade, we were asked in 2018 to re-design and support the entire collection of OTA’s four websites as well as their Salesforce membership database. These sites include ota.com, find.organic, globalorganictrade.com, and organic-center.org. This case study features images from the Find.Organic site, a business directory for organic businesses of all kinds.

our approach

We worked closely with OTA’s electronic communications manager, Kelly Taveras, to define a custom approach to designing, developing, hosting, and supporting these four websites. In each case, our process included discovery, wireframing, visual design, programing/building, content transfer/management, launch, and ongoing support.
